Background, nomenclature

 

Saidpur thana is a very old thana. Saidpur thana was established in 1915. According to most of the people, the Muslim Sayyed family, who came from Kutch Bihar in India, started living in the region first. According to the Sayyid family, firstly Syedpur was named after Syedpur. On 07/12/28, the administrative program started as a standard upgraded thana.
