Syedpur Airport In 1971, the Pakistani government built the Saidpur Airport for fluttering arms and armored aircraft during the Great War of Liberation. It is the only airport in North Bengal. On July 5, 1979, the runway of Saidpur Airport was expanded to 6,800 feet.
